O&M of power plants and grid's BOP

Power quality measurements
Nowadays, the “User agreements” and “Connection agreements” between UTE and the photovoltaic, biomass and wind power plants require meeting with certain technical power quality requirements. The same situation occurs for the connection of large industrial consumers. The international standards that apply are IEC 61000-4-30, EN 50160, IEEE 1159. To verify the power quality requirements, a continuous record of the electrical waves in the point of interconnection must be performed during a period between one to two weeks. After taking the measures, the corresponding analysis is performed. Clerk owns the instrument HIOKI PW3198, Class A, according to IEC 61000-4-30, operated by experts on the matter, offering the corresponding integral service.
