Upon client request, and in the locations of interest, CLERK performs electrical studies in steady state (load flow), in order to study the connection of new power generation or demand in the transmission network.

O&M of power plants and grid's BOP
The power plants and their associated grids, particularly in the renewable energy sector, are demanding new kind of services. These services, although technically conventional, require a very high commitment in terms of equipment availability.
On this field, Clerk’s professional team offer the Operation and Maintenance service, with considerable differentiation levels based on a vast experience in installations similar to power plants’ internal grid or connection grid; and a senior permanent support to contingency situations.
Power quality measurements
Nowadays, the “User agreements” and “Connection agreements” between UTE and the photovoltaic, biomass and wind power plants require meeting with certain technical power quality requirements. The same situation occurs for the connection of large industrial consumers. The international standards that apply are IEC 61000-4-30, EN 50160, IEEE 1159. To verify the power quality requirements, a continuous record of the electrical waves in the point of interconnection must be performed during a period between one to two weeks. After taking the measures, the corresponding analysis is performed. Clerk owns the instrument HIOKI PW3198, Class A, according to IEC 61000-4-30, operated by experts on the matter, offering the corresponding integral service. Regulatory and market analysis
The Uruguayan electricity sector has been transforming since the regulatory law of 1997 and its corresponding decrees in 2002. In the last 10 years, new private actors joined the market, incorporating electricity to the network.
